Spirited away - Matcha Recipe

✨ Like stepping into a classic Ghibli scene—blue skies, fluffy clouds, and rolling green fields of calm. This matcha recipe layers pudding, banana, spirulina milk, and a yoghurt cloud ☁️ to bring you that magical Spirited Away vibe.

Light, playful, and just a little surreal—like sipping sunshine on a picnic blanket, with the cozy wonder of wandering through a Studio Ghibli world. 🌿

 

You’ll need:

  • ½ smashed banana 🍌

  • 3 tbsp Matcha Pudding 🍮 (see below)

  • 100ml soy milk + ¼ tsp spirulina + 1 tbsp banana puree 🌊

  • Ice cubes 🧊

  • Yoghurt Cloud ☁️ (3 tbsp yoghurt + 1 tbsp banana puree, whisked)


🍮 Matcha Pudding:

Whisk together Asagiri Matcha, cornstarch, milk, and sugar in a saucepan.

Cook on low heat, stirring constantly until silky and slightly thickened.

Remove from heat, let cool, and set aside.


✨ Build it:

  1. Smash half a banana at the bottom of your glass.

  2. Add 3 tbsp of matcha pudding.

  3. Whisk soy milk 80ml + spirulina 3g + banana puree 1 tbsp, then pour it in.

  4. Add ice cubes.

  5. Top with yoghurt cloud.
